„OM MUNI MUNI MAHA MUNI YE SWA HA „ is the mantra of the „Shakyamuni-Buddha“ who is the Buddha of present age. Mantras are religious or mystical syllables or poems which serve as prayers and for meditation. They inspire as well as protect and can therefore be repetitively spoken, sung or silently recited. The process of repeating mantras is called “chanting”. On this CD you will also hear the monks of the Namgyal Monastery in Dharamsala, the monastery of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, chanting in the ancient vault of the old Castle Wendhausen. The monks’ very deep voices are surrounded by the relaxing and inspiring music that was produced by Curtis McLaw.
„Spirit Of Tashi Jong“ was sanctified by the 9th Khamtrul Rinpoche, the spiritual head of Tashi Jong. The late Tokden Amtrin (Yogi Amtrin) celebrated a special sanctifying-puja and recited the mantra for the project “Spirit Of Tashi Jong”.
His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama kindly gave his blessing to the project “Spirit Of Tashi Jong".
